Yes, the famous "Star from Austria" is back in the tennis industry and is now available in Australia. One of the most popular and definitely the most innovative racquet manufacturers of the late 70's and 80's, Kneissl fell out of the tennis industry for some years to focus on their snow-ski side of the business ... they are now back!

Used by players such as Ivan Lendl, Kevin Curren, Helena Sukova, Sergi Bruguera, Barbara Schett and of course Thomas Muster throughout the 80s and 90s, Kneissl were famous for their innovative racquet designs which were very much ahead of their time; in fact, many of today's most popular frames have stemmed from Kneissl's innovations more than 20 years ago.
